The Voyager features Metrologic's proprietary
CodeGate technology, which is an intuitive scanning system
that is ideal for all scanning applications, including menu
scanning, Point-of-Sale, document processing, and inventory,
just to name a few. Equipped with both In-Stand and Out-of-Stand
operation, Voyager can be used as both a hand-held and fixed
projection scanner.

be used on laptop computers and any system with USB
keyboard capability including Windows, Macintosh and

Fixed Projection Scanner Operation
- the scanner automatically senses when it is placed
in the stand and deactivates the CodeGate button.
When in the stand, any barcode placed in front of
the scanner will automatically activate the laser,
scan the barcode and send the scanned data to the
host system. |

Hand-held Scanner Operation - remove
the scanner from the stand. When an object is placed
in front of the scanner, the high-visibility 650-nanometer
laser is automatically activated allowing the user
to easily select the bar code to be scanned. Press
the CodeGate button and the data is transmitted to
the host system. |
